Pakistan PTI Rally: Bangladesh-like conditions are being created in Pakistan for the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. PTI has intensified protests across the country. On the other hand, the government has sealed Islamabad and Rawalpindi. During the fierce protest in Islamabad on Sunday, 7 people lost their lives, while more than 10 policemen were injured. PTI senior leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared a fight to the finish.
During a rally on Sunday, Ali Amin Gandapur gave a two-week ultimatum to the government for Imran’s release. During this, Gandapur said, ‘If the government does not release Imran Khan in two weeks, then I swear to Allah, we will release him ourselves.’ Gandapur was seen inciting the crowd during his speech. He said, ‘Pakistanis listen, if the government does not release Imran legally in a week or two, then I swear to Allah, we will release him ourselves.’ As soon as Gandapur said this, the crowd shouted in support.
PTI declared a fight to the finish
Gandapur asked the crowd, ‘Is everyone ready for justice? I will lead you, I will take the first bullet, don’t back down now. If we back down now, we will neither get such an opportunity again nor such a leader again.’ In fact, the Islamabad district administration had issued an NOC for the rally, after which the rally was held in a field near the Sangjani Cattle Market in the suburban area. Thousands of PTI supporters participated in this rally, which made it clear that despite Imran Khan being put in jail, the foundation of his party is still strong.

PTI’s popularity still intact
Imran Khan was jailed on 5 August last year in the Toshakhana case, since then he has been arrested in different cases. imran khan He has been in jail for 400 days. Several security personnel including Senior Superintendent of Police Shoaib Khan were injured in stone pelting by PTI workers during a rally in Islamabad on Sunday. South Asian affairs expert Michael Kugelman has posted on X regarding this issue. He wrote that the government had made all efforts to reduce the number of people in the rally, despite this the number that reached has proved that the popularity of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is still intact.
